Small Update!

I've been a bad blogger these past few months. School takes every free minute that I have. Although I am happy to report that I'm down to my last semester. I have my student teacher this fall followed by graduation. After that comes the scary part. I'm going to have to find a job. I hope that it wont be to hard, and that I'll be blessed enough to find a position fast. I'm looking forward to getting my career started, and teaching those wonderful students of my future. I've been in school for sooooooooo long that it will be interesting what life will be like with out the home work. I'm realistic enough to know that I will have to work extremely hard as a classroom teacher, but I'm up for the challenge. I'm soooo ready to be done with school. I plan to return and get my masters, but I'll take a little time off so that I can concentrate on teaching.

Bryson will be starting kindergarten this school year, and I'm so excited for him. He is ready to learn, and he will do great in school. He is going to have a hard time with the change, but I know that he is a good boy and will make it. As for me I'm not so sure. I will probably cry just because he is my baby, and I can't believe that he is already getting so big. He is such a big help with Jaxon, and a great big brother. Although they fight they still have fun together, and make me laugh daily.

Jaxon is a crazy kid that really thinks that he is bigger then he is. If you ask he is five, and will be going to school with Bryson. He is going to have a hard time without him the next two years. He doesn't like being left behind, and Bryson is his best friend. We are going to have to do a lot of fun things together which I'm excited for because it has never been just us two.

Brandon is a hard worker, and gets up every day and travels to Mesquite for work. He has been doing this for three years, because we have to live in Utah while I'm in school. He makes a lot of sacrifices for me and the boys, because he is such a amazing man. One of the things that he does the best is being a dad. His boys love him, and even after a long day he is willing to get down on the floor and play with them. The boys are always excited to see him when he comes home, and he is just as happy. Brandon is nothing but a big kid so he has just as much fun as they do. It's always fun to see them together, and I'm glad the boys have such a great father to look up to.

T-Ball Fun

Bryson has been playing t-ball for around four weeks. He is so funny when he plays, and I'm starting to think that he was blessed with my athletic talents. :) He is really good at hitting the ball, but is in no hurry to get to first. Brandon is sure that he will learn to be competitive, but we’ll have to see. This boy may be all Anderson which is not a bad thing, because he sure is a handsome little man.
We were lucky enough to have Treycen, and Talen on the same team. It was really fun for Bryson to play with this boys. Jaxon aslo had to be in this picture, because he believes that he is part of the team. They have all done so good, and improved every week.
The dads got into the action, and helped the boys as they sat in the dugout. It was so fun to see Brandon help Bryson, and I know that he loved the attention from his dad.

These are a few pictures of the boys in action. I'm so glad that I signed Bryson up, even if I don't think so when we have to drive out to Little Valley on Thursday night.

Bryson's 5

On Saturday we had Bryson's birthday party. I can't believe that he is five. I know that it is an overused saying that time flies, but it really does. I was thinking about the day that he was born, and remembering how scared I was. I was so scared that I wasn't going to be the mom that this little boy needed, and that I it was going to be so hard. Well I was right that is was going to be hard, but being Bryson's mom has been one of the greatest things that I have ever done and the most rewarding. I love him so much, and he challenges me in ways that I never thought possible. He is the best thing that I have ever done, and I know that with the exception of his brother my greatest joy.
What Bryson is into right now?
• Hiking with his dad
• Playing his leapster2
• Riding his bike
• Reading, no he can't read yet, but don't tell him that.
• Playing on the computer. He has informed me that he is going to be a computer genius when he gets bigger. (Here's to hoping)
Bryson is also:
• Extremely kind
• Smart
• Patient
• Picky eater
• Goofy
• Lovable

The party was so much fun. I got to decorate the house, and make the cake. Bryson asked me to make a clown cake, and I enjoyed making it. I love baking so this was so much fun for me. It took all day, and the hardest part was letting people eat it.
The boys had fun helping me every step of the way.
Bryson gave me a list of the friends that he wanted to invite to his party. With the exception of two of his friends from school he wanted his cousins to come. It is so awesome that he is surrounded by his family. The kids had a lot of fun painting and creating their hats. We also went down to the park, and played games.

I had to add these picture, because this Cameron is so cute! I just love her, and I'm glad she came to play too.

After building up and appetite we came back to the house to eat pizza, and cake.
Look close at the top right picture and you can see that Zak has his tongue out. He is ready to play with that car.
I don't know who was more excited to open gifts, but everyone was willing to help him. It was fun to watch, and I'm so glad that everyone was able to come.

Spring please come!

The great thing about living in St. George is that we can play outside during the winter. Even with this fact we are getting spring fever. So we took a trip down to the river. Since this is the Virgin River there is not much to it, but the boys had a great time. We tossed rocks, and played in the sand. It was fun to get outside, and play. I sometimes feel bad because I spend so much time working on school work, and we don't get to take as many outings as I would like. After having so much fun I've decided that we have to do this atleast once a week.
This picture is not my best work, but getting all three of us in it was a lot of work. Love my silly boys!

Playing with Aiden

Since Jaxon was the youngest in our family for so long he really enjoys playing with babies. On Sunday I was so excited to get the chance to babysit Aiden, but it turned out to be Jaxon that babysat him. He loved playing with him, and sat with him playing ball and trunks for 30 minutes. It was so fun for both of the boys, and I really enjoyed watching them play. Another good point is that I got my baby fix, and if I could guaranty that I got a baby as good as Aiden I would have one tomorrow.

Love these two boys!

Jaxon got mad when I took this one, because Aiden looked away from him.

Don't tell Jaxon that he is almost the same size as him. Shhhhhh.

Accident-prone

This picture is a perfect example of what Jaxon looks like 95% of the time. He is the most accident-prone kid on the planet. In November he pulled the china cabinet down on both of us, and if you look closely at the picture you can see that he is still healing from that incident. On Saturday when he was at his Grandma and Grandpa Gadd’s he fell off the chair on to a box and gave himself this shiner. It’s very common for me to have to sign an accident forms at the daycare because he has fallen. The scary thing about this is that he is now crazy about the X-games. He told me the other day that when he is big he wants to be an X-gamer. I hope the hospitals will take an ongoing payment plan, because with this kid I might be making weekly visits to see them. If he is not there I'm sure I will be, because he is going to give be a heart attack from the stress I have from worring about him. We are going to be their best costumers!

Motherhood

There are so many joys that go along with being a mother, but there are also those days that make you stop and think why we did this. Those times are when you realize that you haven't gone to the bathroom without an audience since they were born, or had a warm meal at home. The times are gone when you can sleep past seven, and stay up past nine. When you spend an hour on your hair, because you want to look nice, they spend that time creating a mural on the playroom wall. All I can say is this is why my hair is always in a pony tail. With all that being said I love being a mom, and I wouldn't change it for anything. I write this because as I was thinking about all the bad things that go along with being a mom I could only think about what Bryson said to me last night as I put him to bed. He said, “Mom you are my heart, and I love you so much in it." He is such a sweet boy, although Jaxon doesn't say nice things he looks at you with those big brown eyes and I'm his forever. I love you boys! You are my life, and I'm better because of you.
